About the Role:
 

Overview

We are looking for a Director of Product (Identity Fraud) to join our team to work across our product and data teams to accelerate our go-to-market strategies. This role will own and manage the strategy and execution of Socure’s flagship products such as Sigma Identity Fraud, Sigma Synthetic Fraud, RiskScores. This position will closely interact with Engineering, Data Science, Sales, and Compliance to support our product roadmap to drive customer satisfaction. Reporting to our SVP of Product for our Fraud & Risk solutions, you will be taking on and fully owning one, if not the most, strategic projects we have in the works here at Socure. 
 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer and financial outcomes by building cutting-edge fraud prevention products that enable business growth with minimal friction  

  • Partner up closely with Socure’s world-class customers and translate their pain points into innovative products and solutions

  • Drive the product vision and strategy for Identity Fraud at Socure by developing and executing a multi-year roadmap, effectively balancing short-term objectives with long-term investments to achieve global scalability.

  • Oversee the entire product management lifecycle, from defining the initial market problem to developing product requirements, pricing strategies, product development, positioning, sales enablement, continuous product evolution, and ongoing maintenance.

  • Establish the framework and metrics to assess the team's impact; gain a deep understanding of key drivers and continuously monitor progress

  • Optimize our team's processes to boost execution speed, strategically balancing business priorities with available resources.

  • Act as the thought leader supporting commercial teams in customer engagements by advocating for our solutions to drive sales simultaneously gathering market requirements to inform the product teams

  • Inspire, align, and closely work with world-class data scientists and engineers to ship product features our customers need rapidly
     

Required Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years Product Management experience

  • 3+ year of experience managing product managers

  • Deep subject matter expertise in fraud prevention, identity verification, or risk management

  • Proven experience in developing new products from the ground up (0 to1) and consistently delivering ongoing enhancements to an established product portfolio

  • Relentless determination and a results-driven mindset to guarantee the success of your products

  • Ability to grasp deep technical concepts, including machine learning, AI, and graph analytics. 

  • Penchant for clear, concise, and impactful communication to either technical or business audiences

  • Active participation and demonstration of critical thinking on product, GTM, and data strategy

  • Ability to travel ~15-20%
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, MS, or PhD in a quantitative field

  • Experience leading a product team at a successful SaaS company

  • Subject matter expertise in fraud prevention

Salary Disclosure:

Base Salary range: $190,000 - $235,000

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity,  comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
